Peter M. Wolff
Managing Partner
Attorney Peter Wolff has been practicing law for over 15 years. His varied experience makes him an exceptional advocate. He has a good working relationship with the Judges and the prosecutors of Waukesha County and he has a reputation for achieving the best possible outcome for his clients.
Peter attended the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, and he received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, with a minor in Communications. He graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2002. His practice focuses on criminal and family law. Peter regularly accepts appointments in criminal, family and juvenile matters from the Circuit Court Judges of Waukesha County and he was appointed Supplemental Court Commissioner to the Honorable Mark Gundrum.
For ten years, Peter was a law enforcement officer with the City of Brookfield Police Department. In addition to his regular patrol duties, Peter was a DARE Instructor, and he was chosen to be an instructor to teach OWI procedure and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing to other police officers. Peter also served undercover as a Detective with the Waukesha County Metropolitan Drug Enforcement Unit.
In 2006 Peter was elected as a Supervisor on the Waukesha County Board. He currently serves as a Chairman of the Judiciary and Law Enforcement Committee and he is the Secretary of the Executive Committee. Peter is very active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Waukesha County Fair and was President of the Board of Directors of the 180 Diversion Program. Peter is a member of the Waukesha County Bar Association, with membership in the criminal, family and juvenile sections, he is also a member of the Business Leaders Policy Coalition (Waukesha County Republican Party).
Peter grew up in the City of Brookfield and graduated from Brookfield East High School in 1986. His father was a Police Chief for 28 years, then he served eight years as an Alderman. His mother was a Waukesha County Supervisor for 28 years. Peter has two sisters and three brothers. He still resides in Waukesha County with his wife and two daughters.
